Odoo 20 release notes: common questions
What is new in Odoo 20?
The official Odoo 20 release notes list 585 changes across 52 apps and areas. The largest sets are in Website (60), Accounting (45), General (41), eCommerce (38), Spreadsheet (30). 249 of the changes are new features and 296 are enhancements to existing features.
Which Odoo 20 changes are available in Community edition?
391 of the 585 changes are in Odoo 20 Community (and therefore also in Enterprise). 194 are Enterprise only. Every change on these pages is labeled with its edition, and each app page has an edition filter.
Should I upgrade to Odoo 20 straight away?
Test before you move production. Restore a copy of your database, run the upgrade on the copy, and check your custom modules, reports and integrations against the changes listed for the apps you use. Custom modules normally need code changes for a new major version, so plan that work before choosing a go-live date.

Each entry quotes the official Odoo 20 release note, then explains it in plain words. We traced every change in the Odoo 20 Community and Enterprise source code and captured it in a live Odoo 20 Enterprise database. Where a change could only be partly confirmed in the source, the entry says so.
