The challenge
DataTile's public face ran on an aging WordPress install that rendered inconsistently across phones, tablets, and desktops, while the commercial engine behind it ran on spreadsheets and inbox threads. With no CRM in place, website inquiries had nowhere structured to land, and the company's subscription business — tiered plans, quantity-based progressive discounts, customer-specific billing years — was being administered by hand.
- Non-responsive WordPress site with inconsistent layouts and an outdated design
- No CRM: visitor inquiries and demo requests were tracked manually, so follow-ups slipped
- Tiered pricing, progressive discount tables, and per-customer financial-year billing cycles managed outside any system
- Broken links, error pages, and weak cookie-consent handling eroding trust and compliance
- No Google Analytics or Tag Manager integration, leaving traffic and campaign performance invisible
Our approach
iVentureTeam rebuilt DataTile's entire web presence natively in Odoo and then extended the Sales and Subscription modules to encode the pricing logic the team had been enforcing manually.
WordPress-to-Odoo website migration
- Rebuilt the homepage, platform, solutions, pricing, case-study, about, contact, and legal pages as responsive Odoo Website templates verified on Android and iOS
- Designed a custom 404 page, repaired every broken link, and moved cookie-consent management into the Odoo framework
- Gated the "Try for Free" submit button behind privacy-policy acceptance
CRM-wired lead capture
- Added validation to the Contact Us and Try for Free forms and connected both directly to Odoo CRM, so every inquiry creates a lead instantly
- Deployed Odoo Live Chat sitewide as a second capture channel with real-time visitor support
Custom subscription and pricing engine
- Built progressive-discount logic driven by product quantity and custom discount tables, applied at the product level
- Enabled custom start dates for recurring orders with dynamic end-date adjustment
- Wrote renewal logic that aligns each invoice cycle to the customer's own financial year
- Implemented GTM and GA4 scripts for full-funnel visitor tracking
Outcomes
DataTile now operates its website, lead pipeline, quoting, and subscription billing from one Odoo database. Inquiries convert to CRM opportunities without manual re-entry, and billing edge cases that once required spreadsheet gymnastics run on rules.
- Faster lead response and higher conversion from automated form-and-chat capture into CRM
- Complex tiered pricing and per-customer billing years handled without administrative rework
- GA4 and GTM data now informs campaign and product decisions in real time
- A modern, responsive site strengthened brand perception across every device
“Our website, CRM, and subscription billing finally live in one system. We stopped babysitting WordPress plugins and started seeing the whole funnel — visitor to paying subscriber — in one place.”
