The challenge

Since 2005, Stigah BV has worked to make healthcare aids safer across the Netherlands. That mission depends on knowing the exact status of every medical device and every inspection — yet the tooling behind it had not kept pace with the compliance workload.

  • Delivered a fully responsive layout so the same portal works on desktops, tablets, and phones.

Device and inspection management, customized

  • Extended Odoo's search with real-time filtering so users locate a specific device in seconds, plus a guided step-by-step flow for registering new devices.
  • Built custom workflows and automation rules to drive inspection statuses and schedules, with all inspection data stored in Odoo under a 7-year retention policy.
  • Added a measurement-device module with its own landing page to add, edit, and manage measurement equipment.

Protocols, notifications, and quality gates

  • Created configurable inspection protocols with per-protocol user permissions and an inspector card showing each inspector's protocol authorizations.
  • Implemented business rules and notifications through Odoo's automation engine so nothing slips between inspections.
  • Validated the portal with Odoo's testing tools before go-live.
