The challenge
KMF Technologies supplies IT services, computer hardware, and network infrastructure to institutions across the West African subcontinent — but its own back office ran on manual tracking. Products and categories lived in hand-maintained lists, and departments could not see each other's data.

Our approach
iVentureTeam ran a structured seven-phase implementation — requirements, system design, configuration, report customization, data migration, training, and post-go-live support — to bring KMF's core operations into one Odoo system.
Configuration and customization
- Configured Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting around KMF's actual workflows
- Defined warehouses, product categories, stock locations, and units of measure
- Set role-based user access rights and added custom fields for product tracking and supplier information
- Built custom PDF report formats for quotations, sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders
Data migration and localization
- Imported the full product master — items, categories, cost prices, and sale prices — with post-migration integrity checks
- Created a custom chart of accounts tailored to The Gambia
Training and phased go-live
- Delivered functional Odoo training to KMF staff across the implemented modules
- Rolled out in phases for a smooth transition, followed by continuous functional support
Outcomes
KMF Technologies now runs an integrated purchase-to-delivery workflow with live inventory and reports that answer questions the day they are asked.
