We run our own multi-tenant Odoo hosting platform on Kubernetes — staging branches, per-client isolation, backups, restores and zero-downtime upgrades. You will own it: the infrastructure, the deployment pipeline, and the on-call story that keeps client ERPs available.
About the team
Infrastructure & DevOps is small and deliberately senior. You will be the technical owner of the platform rather than one of six people arguing about it, with the founders and lead engineers as your review partners.
What you'll do
- Operate and evolve the Kubernetes platform running client Odoo instances — isolation, autoscaling, resource limits, cost control.
- Manage all infrastructure as code in Terraform. Nothing important gets clicked into existence in a console.
- Own GitOps deployment with ArgoCD: branch-per-environment, promotion flow, rollback that actually works.
- Own PostgreSQL operations — backups, point-in-time restore, replication, connection pooling, and periodic restore drills.
- Design the observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, meaningful alerts, and dashboards a consultant can read.
- Harden the platform: secrets management, network policy, least-privilege IAM, patching cadence.
- Write the runbooks, then make most of them unnecessary through automation.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering, including production Kubernetes you were on call for.
- Deep AWS or GCP experience — networking, IAM and cost management, not just compute.
- Terraform in anger: modules, state management, and a considered opinion on workspaces.
- GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux.
- Real PostgreSQL operational skill — you have restored a production database under time pressure.
- You write documentation without being asked, because you have been the person who needed it at 2am.
Nice to have
- Experience hosting Odoo, or another Python/PostgreSQL monolith, at multi-tenant scale.
- Helm chart authoring, or Kubernetes operator development.
- Security certifications, or hands-on SOC 2 / ISO 27001 preparation.
- FinOps experience — visible, sustained cloud cost reduction.
